When doing the wings because they weren't a photograph or a very high rendered image like Iron Man, I spent a lot of time changing the saturation, the brightness and contrast to try and get them to match in with Iron Man more seemingly. A big issue which I haven't addressed and dunno if I will/can at the moment, is how the lightning is just different on the wings so they stand out as clearly not being part of the image with IM.
First:
The wings here seemed far too light compared to IM.
Second:
Wing here or-though darker, seem faded, and don't stand out enough.
Third:
Getting there, but now the gold wings are too sharp, but too much contrast.
Final:
As well as changing the properties that affected the gold on the wings, I also tweaked what effected the blue tinges on the ends so they didn't just fade into the black background and stood out nicely.
